I chose this song from Free Music Archive.  I plan to use it as part of the exemplar for my English 12’s final project – to write a dystopic poem.  This song is discordant which adds depth to the feeling of unease that I hope to create with the poem.  As Carter (2012) states, music “can help to influence the mood the learner will have when listening to the instruction”.  I would edit the song in order to make it fit with the feeling of the parts of the poem.
